What a pleasure it was to photograph Jenn and Tyler. Wow..talk about a couple who is completely in love. I rarely had to direct them..I would be just doing something else when I would turn around and they were kissing again. If anyone had any doubts about love..they would just need to spend a few hours with this couple and those doubts would vanish. And it so evident that they both share a huge heart for helping others. They finished a medical missions trip just 1 week prior to their wedding. As you check out the slideshow check out that cake (the grooms cake was a cadaver...and they cut it with scalpels..I guess I should explain they are both medical students!). And I loved that the entire bridal party wore flip-flops. This first image is one of my favorites of the day and it was actually captured by my assistant Tiffany. Enjoy the full slideshow here.

And this is was my second wedding in Owenton. I was so pumped that their reception was at Elk Creek Vineyards. I had such a fabulous time photographing Abby and Jon's engagement pictures that I knew their wedding pictures would be just as fun. Abby incorporated her engagement pictures throughout the day..in the church slideshow..on the favors..in the guestbook..in the card drop container..so it was neat for me to see them displayed. And talk about details! I think Abby should consider being a wedding planner. I did a collage of just a few of the details. Check out the full slideshow here.

My fabulous assistant Tiffany referred Colleen to my services. They are childhood friends so it was neat to be a part of the wedding day. The service was beautiful with amazing singing surrounded by breathtaking stain glass windows. It was a fun day for everyone involved in this wedding...from the getting ready to the waiting..to the reception. And this reception gets the award for the most fun yet hands down. They were celebrating till well after midnight..and I had so much fun photographing it! Check out the slideshow here.

I am going to try to catch up on my blogging tonight. Twice this summer I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings in Owenton, KY. One of these weddings was July 19th. I was a bit worried that I might be going the wrong direction as I drove 30 miles in the countryside..but luckily I arrived to the correct place! (I now own a GPS for situations like this!) I was super excited about the beautiful countryside all around us. It was perhaps the hottest day of the summer..definitely the hottest Saturday but you wouldn't know that from looking at the pictures. Enjoy the images of this sweet couple.
