I will be out of town all this week for a conference in North Carolina. I am excited to be learning new tricks of the trade at the Rock Star Workshop with Corey McNabb. I will be back in town on Sunday! Have a terrific week.

I have said it several times before, but I really do love taking pictures at the Bell House. It is a fabulous venue here in Lexington for a smaller wedding. I was excited because they were going to have an outside wedding there (my first outside ceremony this summer) however mother nature had other plans. Nevertheless it was a beautiful ceremony inside and the rest of the day went smoothly. Take a peek at the slideshow here. It was my pleasure on June 28, 2008 to capture the wedding of Carla and Kpandja. Some weekends I am struck with how wonderful my job can be. I get the opportunity to share the day with the wedding couple and witness their celebration and love. And in this case, I was honored to witness the merging of two cultures. I drove by the church a few days before and was excited to see the graffiti wall across the road. I can't figure out what it is saying...I hope nothing bad!
