I have taken countless pictures at Keeneland during engagement sessions, but I had been itching to photograph a wedding there. Finally on June 7th I got that opportunity. There is a certain elegance to weddings at Keeneland and how much more Kentuckian does it get to get married at a horse track? What made it great also was a fun couple and bridal party. Seriously..they ran on the track for me.:-) Thanks to their willingness and for a fun time. You can see some pictures here and can then click to their slideshow. Below is a preview from my May 31st wedding. First if you recall I did their engagement session back in November and they were so much fun. The wedding of course was the same way. And their daughter definitely wins the award for best flower girl that I have seen to this date. Absolutely adorable...dancing till the music stopped...and of course during the ceremony she perfectly threw down the flowers.

Here are a few more from my engagement session in Owenton. I was able to get a mini-tour of Owenton and we captured pictures at a few of my favorite types of backgrounds: a vineyard, abandoned buildings, downtown, and at Abby's family farm. What more could a photographer ask for? Well..of course a willing couple..which I did indeed have as you can see. What a lovely day.

Allison and Chad - May 24th

Wow. Want to talk about a happy, excited bride. Allison was radiant from the moment I walked in to the moment she exited. It was touching witness her glowing happiness. It was my pleasure to capture this special day for them. Check out the preview below and take a sneak at the slideshow too.

Tandy and Chad - May 25th

So, Tandy is a friend of friend that booked me to take pictures at her wedding in May. I love it when the brides like for me to come where they are getting ready because I can get some fun shots. It was probably the first hot day I experienced in this year's wedding season..but Tandy and Chad were troopers with braving the outdoors for pictures. Tandy was a stunning bride and I love, love so many of the images. The first image below is definitely one of my favorite getting ready pictures to date..and of course I love the one image that I previously posted.
