On May 9th I had the pleasure of taking pictures at a wedding of a dear friend of mine from high school. The day began with me traveling with the girls to the beauty shop and ended as the couple left for their honeymoon. Becky was a beautiful bride...the gardenias in her hair were the perfect touch. And of the course the little flower girl is someone you all might recognize from previous pictures..precious Baby Andi. They got married in Jeffersonville, IN (right across the river from Louisville) at Kye's. I had my first Red Mile reception on April 26, 2008. It is a neat place to have a wedding reception. The whole atmosphere of the reception was really unique and neat as they had a live band, good country food..and the whole mood was topped off by the barn at Red Mile. This past weekend I had the pleasure of doing pictures for a high school friend Becky. So..needless to say I took alot of pictures..close to 1200! I am making my way through them and will have a slideshow soon..but I wanted to give a sneak preview of how beautiful Becky was on her big day.

April 19th

Last summer I was lucky to have great sunny Saturday after Saturday. This year has been quite different. Each week has me holding my breathe and me armed with various umbrellas on standby. April 19th was no different..but the weather held off at just the right time for pictures. And honestly I much prefer cloudy days..just not rainy days! What a genuinely sweet couple and a neat location for a wedding. Connected to the new sanctuary was the old one which was a photographer's playground! Old furniture, fabulous windows..great texture on the walls. And on top of it Angie and Joel were willing to indulge me and my suggested poses. What a lovely day. You can check it out below.
